Certificate III National Training Package

Recently there has been an application to have farriery included in a National Training Package. Currently farriery is not included in any national training package despite the expectation that national competency standards for farriery would be included in the 1998 and 2003 review of the rural training package.

An Industry Advisary Group has been set up consisting of representatives from the AFBA and the MFA as well as project co-ordinators.
